IMPORTANT NOTICE: POSSIBLE STRIKE ACTION BY TANKER DRIVERS
The NAFD has been in contact with officials at the Department of Energy and Climate Change regarding the availability of fuel supplies for funeral directors in the event of a fuel tanker driver strike.
Following these discussions, we are now liaising with the Ministry of Justice in an attempt to obtain priority status for funeral and removal vehicles, thus ensuring there will be no disruption to the service you provide to your bereaved families and, in some cases, HM Coroner.
We will keep you advised of developments as they occur through further emails and on this page.
